Part of the Magdalene Collection: The oak leaf used to create the pendant in this collection came from the first oak tree on the trail up through a wonderful oak forest to the cave at La Sainte Baume where Mary Magdalene lived for 30 years. Local nature rangers claim that normally that species of oak does not grow so far south in France: it seems the exquisite energy of the Magdalene's imprint on the area has made it possible. And tradition has it that Mary and her followers were in regular contact with the Celtic Druids who venerated the oak.
